Also known as a mixed deck. So that would be a no, such coalitions would just mess up with the coalition lobby filter's purpose.

Because really, can anyone see a problem with this? I certainly can't wait for my Leclerc/Challenger 2/Leopard 2A5/M1A2 tank section and my Nighthawk, ECR and Rafale combo. :P

Yes there should be. Try these stats:

NATO: 15% Availability Malus
WARSAW PACT: 10% Availability Malus

Not happening: Main reason has been given as gameplay (coalitions of lesser countries are to rival USA/USSR) and engine limitation - a country cannot belong to two different coalitions at once.

It's not an engine limitation when Eugen controls the engine. They literally added coalitions this game, they can modify them however they want.
