There really isn't any realistic excuse of not including TOW launchers with much heavier MANPADS and ATGM systems already in-game.

I agree but Eugen always can find a reason why should not be in the game...

In a game like this balance issues should trump realism to a considerable degree. In this case, however, I see little reason to exclude these units because of flavour. Lack of ATGM teams is not flavour, it's pure and simple handicap.

There is also the aspect that if TOW is included then that opens up the can of works of towed weapons. They are also often moved about by foot, just not over long distances, just like the TOW. There are quite a lot of towed weapons left out of the game.

That's the biggest load of crap I've heard yet.
AGS 17? RBS 70? Mistral? They are already in the goddamn game..... I don't see any tosed units coming because of them... how does that even relate to the TOW itself even.....

Towed units relate to TOW by being about as easy to carry around as the TOW, unlike the other examples you gave that are carried easier for longer distances. You could in theory make a custom carry harness for the TOW pieces and then it might be about as easy to carry, but this isn't standard issue to US soldiers in the time frame of this game.

Sorry, I didnt know that an M198 howitzer weighs the same and is as easy to transport as a tripod, launch tube, and some extra missiles.

You also didn't know that M198 is not the only towed weapon in the world. Lots of things you don't know it seems.

US deck already has the best in game AT weapon with it's AT helos and AT IFVs.

Longbow is the best AT helo in the game with a great advantage over other AT helos. Besides Longbow US deck has a bunch of other decent AT helos.

Bradley from recon section with TOW2, good optics and medium stealth is probably the best AT vehicle in the game and you have other options either in vehicles section.

TOW itself in game has better accuracy than Milan and Konkurs for no real reason.

So US deck is already overbuffed in terms of it's AT capabilities. If you want to get a TOW infantry either other US TOW and HELLFIRE carriers should be nerfed in some way then. Probably TOW 2 should have the same 50% accuracy with konkurs and Milan or whatever. It;s not like US deck should have the best in game AT helos, AT vehicles and AT infantry at the same time.

Towed weapons means it pretty much cannot br moved without a vehicle, sure you can move an AT gun a bit, but wont get very far. You cant move a 40mm Bofors gun without a vehicle, artillery, AA guns, etc, are NOT trabsportable by man in any way, while TOW is easily moved by a small team. Towed vehicles has nothing to do with the TOW system.

You forget something as 99% of players... Is not only A category games are in WG world... Just check what anti tank capability has US deck in C cat deck. Hm....

Almost nothing excapt the iTOW capable jeep and APC based vehicle which are almost practice target for tanks and easily killed by mortars...

BTW USSR also have lots of IFV with all types of ATGM from Metys to Konkurs M and also have ATGM inf. with the same ATGMs. So, can I ask why we can't have US TOW ATGM inf while all of their infantry - except Rifleman 90 but is also weak because is slow and regular - does not hav any usable RPG style AP weapon? Even C cat tanks cannot be defeated by inf. in forest. Megalol...

Says the guy who thinks that the US is so overbuffed in terms of ATGMs. Practically no other country had anything like TOW or Hellfire until the Kornet.
