So a friend of mine recently showed me this. It has intrigued me hugely...skip to 0:58 seconds in if you're impatient:

It was a great game BUT.....
Seahawks blew it. They had Lynch and were at the 1 yard line with 3 plays to run. And they run a slant route when the linebackers are going to be crowding in. Madness. Madness and Stupidity.

See that's where Belichik's genius comes in. You could see Carrol go all 'WTF?' when he didn't do the timeout. That meant the time ran down and there wouldn't be time for a second try. So Carrol panicked and called a deception throw, just as Belichik wanted. Of course he couldn't know it became an interception, but that just made it all the more impressive.
In any case, Seahawks made a lot of mistakes in that last drive. Just because they mostly worked, didn't mean they were right. Interceptions were borderline on all the passes, and that bounce-catch was just pure lottery.
In the end the old strategist defeated the team leader.

Re: Sports!
I'm neither a Seahawks or Patriots fan, but jesus christ that was the most wild final 3 minutes of a game I've witnessed in a while. Also, that video of the arm-wrestling/boxing had a huge plot twist there.
I'm a swimmer, we get no love spectator-wise, but there's no surprises there, it's not the most exciting sport to watch.
And I actually find the sport of curling to be rather interesting to watch, but theres no passion in it like other sports. Unless you're the German National rock slider dude that screams his head off the entire time it's sliding to the other side.

Slant route into the middle of the field, when you have the BEST running back in the NFL. A running back who is universally known for getting that extra yard....
Seahawks will have a fun off-season there.
