Linux version
I read in a previous post that there is already an internal Linux version, it was before the release of steam for linux, it will be really nice if you can release it for linux now, I'm pretty sure there are many linux users, that are forced to play on windows

Any Marshal can confirm this? If just the information that there WAS a Linux version, even if it isn't going to be released.
Re: Linux version
Having such a good game on Linux would be great. Actually, W:EE is my main reason for booting on Windows. I Could almost wipe it out from my HDD. However, Steam for Linux is far from perfect (still in beta I think). Like many other I can't get it working correctly.
Re: Linux version
As it's main developer, I can confirm there is a Linux version of the game internally at Eugen Systems, I use it daily as I do my work under Linux. At the moment it is not sufficiently polished, and I cannot say anything about a potential release...
I would however be interested in knowing which distributions you are using, what are your graphic cards and drivers.

Fedora 18 and... AMD Catalyst with AMD 6870. I would love a Linux version also, then I wouldn't have to switch over to Windows 7 to play a simple game of Wargame.

Re: Linux version
I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with a GTX 570 and the nVidia proprietary drivers (essentially for CUDA). I used Debian before but I've had to switch to Ubuntu for my work because it comes with more recent gcc release (I'm PhD student in computer science).
I wonder if you noticed difference in performance between Windows and Linux.

Re: Linux version
Linux Mint 14 64-bit
Would be great to see this game on Linux. With Steam for Linux arriving, more and more people will probably be using Linux
