Great map overall, but...
Isn't ECHO a little bit too close from GOLF ?
Additionally, when coming from GOLF you can just put an infantry CV in the buildings on your side of the city, and it becomes impervious to the infantry attack that was used to take ECHO from BRAVO. It feels like a double penalty.
Triple penalty if you include the shorter distance.

I think you forgot the river and the only bridge, it makes ECHO very easy to fill with infantry from BRAVO. And makes assault accross the river very hard if not impossible if properly defended.
Both sides can do that!nWODT_Niack wrote:Additionally, when coming from GOLF you can just put an infantry CV in the buildings on your side of the city, and it becomes impervious to the infantry attack that was used to take ECHO from BRAVO. It feels like a double penalty
and then again, the river make it more complicated for GOLF's side, especialy if you need to bring in supplys.
And both sides has some forest too, where you can put CVs.
I find it kinda fair, the river brings some asymetrical balance: ok GOLF can be there a few seconds before via fast helos, but bringing any supplies/reinforcements is also more complicated for GOLF side.
This sectors is easier to lock down for BRAVO's side, even when its still beeing contested by some CV in forest.

Re: Focus on Wonsan Harbour!
Played this map couple of times at ranked and it feels a bit unbalanced. Player who starts from red side can take four sectors without a fight and therefore got advantage over guy who starts from blue side.
Perhaps moving Echo nearer to center area could help. Changing Delta so that it starts after the river (when looking from red point of vue) and moving it also towards center a bit could also make this map more balanced.
Another thing that might make this more balanced is cutting the rocks. Make road from Bravo to Delta through mountains at right bottom side of map.
Removing Echo completely gives both sides three sectors where they reach first but this could be too drastic.

I can imagine all those retarded teleportations of SF squads from blocks to blocks trying to avoid bombing runs and all that is thrown at them like other SF squads.
The curse of Red Dragon. The map design.

It's a fun map, but there's definitely a small amount of favoritism to one (red) side. It's too close for helo infantry and you can cut off players by just rushing Delta from the front. (potentially even pincering the blue player)
If red side doesnt do that and just takes delta from the rear and digs in it is a spectacular map to play on in 1v1s and 3v3s. Its very much attribute like to copenhagen in ALB. Lots of infantry, lots of fire, and lots of short frantic fights.
