New Cartel Is Too Over Powered

Hi Guys,
Is it just me or is the new cartel too over powered with there steath, playing as the americans only a few units can detect them, mainly the scout choppers who just get shot down buy invisiable tanks, after they research the tech that lets them stay hidden when firing, its just too over the top . the game was better with just the Chimera having some stealth units. I Think they went too far with that army.
What dose everyone else think ?????

these tanks are getting crushed vs abrams! yes, you do need units that can detect them but you got several units that can, and some are in fact cheap to spam-produce..

well, many Cartel units and uppgrades will most likely get a price nerf but I don't think the units are OP looking at their stats. The Spectre are extremly fragile and once revealed, they don't get the damage boost that makes them strong. An Abrams TUSK II can easily destroy a Spectre that has twice less HP. And bringing a few little bird or recon hmvee along isn't really game breaking.

No, the Cartel units are not overpowered.

To get the permanent stealth option on Spectre costs a LOT ( just like the B2 upgrade, the full terminator upgrades etc ... )

So by the time this option is developped, the game has usually entered its final stage. And as said previously, Cartel units are really good w/ Stealth aspects, but are quite fragile.

Some small balance adjustements can be done for the Cartel, but no big changes.

I also posted in the other forum thread about this. but here it is again.

Their stealth tanks are seriously over powered. Its hard to keep any unit that detects them alive. I tried helping my Allie with a few dozen stykers and got ass raped before I could even kill two units. Same thing with my Abrams, the AI wasted both of us. MG Nest should also have the ability to detect these units.

The Rail Gun Tank, unit once it fires it main gun should be a detectable unit. They have a big advantage over all other races with their stealth. Even the NOD Tanks in CnC un-stealthed once they fired. Same thing here, unit should un-stealth.

I would even suggest that the Rail gun get nerfed a bit, that tank is one shoting Stykers. and not far off on how they are dealing damage to Abrams.

I even put this to the test by playing as the Cartel, and tested out the Rail gun. its was laying waste to everything it met.

Yes, the otomatics also need to be nerfed, their ability to pepper an area like they do is very devastating. Especially in mass. I think their fire rate needs to be turned down slightly. They seem to be firing a bit fast. that can help reduce their devastating attacks.

So far, from what we have encounter with the Cartel, this would be the three main issues.

Reduce the damage of the rail gun, and have their units un-stealth while firing, and otomatics either reduce their damage a bit or/and slow down their attack rate.

And Crymore, you are so full of it. WE took on just one Med AI and the AI had those Tanks at full Stealth within 20 mins and were kicking the shit out of us. We had no counter for his stealth tanks, and the Rail Gun, its one shotting most of our units. One AI laid waste to both of us, game was over in 40 mins. Imagine what human players are going to be doing with this race? it will be a mad rush to research this ability.

Sorry, but they need to get nerfed in a big way. just like I posted. that unit should un-cloak while firing.

I mean come one Even the Klingons cant fire while cloaked.

Anyone who defends this Race is not seeing all sides of how un-balanced the game is and will be. Who will play the other races when you can have this kind of invincibility?

I just saw 5 Specter tanks take out 5 of my MG bunkers and 8 Abams tanks ( with tusk 1 ) they are a bit op, and yes the american get the B2 bombers but you can build defences for that which are perment, you cant defend agains 30 Spectar tanks with clocking.

I agree that the Otomatics are too OP early game; high health & lots of damage to any ground units early on. AT damage should be waaayyy nerfed for that unit.

Though for the Specter + stealth upgrade, IMO it should be kept like that but make it an additional individual upgrade (like TUSK upgrade for Abrams). Moreover, there should be additional stealth detecting units in both US and Chimera, preferably units with high HP, as the only stealth detecting unit with decent health is Specter with the upgrade.

Yes, we all know that. there is nothing wrong with discussing balance. that's why there's a Beta Forum. This needs to be discussed so the devs understand what the issues are that we are experiencing.
