BTR-90

Postby morpher » Thu 3 Sep 2015 09:52

It seems that everyone is willing to share their idea on what to nerf, This is mine.

With a soviet deck the only sane transport choices are: the 5pt-er for VDV spam and the BTR-90 for everything else.
The problem is not that the BTR-90 is OP (I mean, it is) but the number of cards and the availability.

Lets be honest, the BTR-90 is in the same league as the Marder 2, so 1 card, low availability and associated only with a single type of infantry (spetz/vdv/gru, I don't care).

Someone has never played against USSR Mech it seems.

Try securing the field portion of Back to Inchon with 8 BMP-3s camping the other side of the river. It's not fun.

TBF, BTR-90 wipes the floor with the BMP-1D as well as most IFVs that get in its way.

USSR mech? never met in ranked nor in 2vs2-3vs3. I used to play a French marine deck, just for fun, with lots of crusaders but this doesn't mean that they are the typical asf.
