I really hope they don't make the same mistakes they did in Steel Division to a possible wargame 4. I really do. And I bet you that if they made an 1 to 1 WWII adaptation of Wargame Red Dragon, they'd ended up with much more players than they did with the two Steel Divisions. Seeing what AoA and SD became, I really hope they learned from that and go back to a bricks and mortar Wargame if they do a 4.

IF I HAVE SOME PROPOSITIONs TO IMPROVE THE NEXT GAME IT WILL BE :
-field artillery
-parachute infantry
-more big maps
-realistic recovery vehicle + medical ambulance or armored medvac
- big city area and more realistic infantry garrison
- improve infantry fighting gameplay
-add mine and naval mine
-reconnaissance aircraft to see land units
-military buildings (command , radar ,airfield , barracks .....)

Wargame is a tactical, not a strategic game.
Paradrops and other strategic level assets/concepts have been repeatedly denied, and they have rightfully no place in this game.

Pulled shamelessly from the directory post. One line denials to so many posts of late.
Bolded particularly frequent / persistent requests.
1. No Paradrops;

There are no recon planes ingame. Why?

Balance issues. They didn't want people sniping command vehicles in the first minute of the game.

Besides, air recon at the time was more strategic in nature. It would take at least an hour or more for information to be relayed to commanders in the field. Helicopters filled the roll of recon quite well.

I do wish there were spotter aircraft like the OV-1, O-2 or OV-10 for the role of AFAC (and thus designating targets for laser-guided weaponry), but that wasn't implemented. Probably too cumbersome to bother with in the engine.

Big Cities have existed in ALB, could be a good gimmick, but would require infantry abstraction in cities to get improved upon significantly, which has been often mentioned.

Yeah for wargame it should stay tactical or at least true to original gameplay. I don't think Naval units should be off the table though, Should start small though. Small vessels and boats. Stuff Special forces would use, stuff that would make those classic C&C like missions. If anything it would be good for singleplayer missions.

1. I want to see radar vehicles and battery command plot vehicles be necessary to enable SAM TELs to detect/fire out to max range (especially for IR TELs that usually had air search radar in the extended battery/regimental ToE and would operatev with highly degraded situational awareness if they were lacking). One can even imagine SAMs like 2K11, 2K12, and HAWK being unable to fire unless co-located with an emitting radar truck.

2. Counter battery radar vehicles that give a time delayed firing point indicator (decaying over time) on the map. These vehicles will be RAD tagged like SAM TELs and vulnerable to SEAD when operational, additionally, as most of these systems can spot fall of shot, they could give a CEP bonus to SPH/towed howitzer units when emitting and co-located with tube artillery.

3. Would also be great to have non-fcs equipped SPH like those under the centralized, networked PACT battery fire control model benefit from aim speed bonuses if co-located with a battery fires control vehicle, with their traditional 30s aim speed only if under local control away from the fire direction center.
Projectnordic in game! will likely see you on pact/red dragons/french!

To model the S-300 system. The radar would need to be modeled appropriately. Same with Patriot actually as well.
